The Conco system of mechanical tube cleaning is better than any other manual, automatic or chemical method of condenser and heat exchanger tube cleaning. Conco makes the procedure quick and easy for effective results.

After testing 5 to 10 cleaners to make sure the system is working properly, insert the cleaners in the tubes. For top efficiency, load as many cleaners as possible and then shoot with as many guns as possible; 2000 to 3000 or 25% to 50% of the total number of tubes is a good target.

Then, simply insert the gun behind the cleaner and "lock" the gun into the tube by pushing the gun straight in and cocking down and to the side in one complete motion. Hold the gun firmly and pull the trigger. When the cleaner exits the tube, the gauge will show a back pressure drop of approximately 30 pounds. Since the cleaners travel down the tube at 10 to 20 feet per second, each shot is fast and the whole procedure is smooth and productive.

After all the tubes have been cleaned, check the tubes with a high intensity light. If one is blocked, you will see just a faint light or no light at all. Mark these tubes and reshoot, using only one gun to obtain the highest possible pressure. When the job is completed, wash and air-dry the cleaners and store them in oil, preservative, or discard them. It's that simple!
